Church’s ruins in Trzesacz
Trzesacz is the place where “sea seize the church”. Here on the high cliffy edge stays the last gothic church’s wall, not seized by the sea yet. The temple was built in XIV / XV c. Then it was situated in the centre of the village, probably about 2 km from the seashore. Old sources describe the village, which was attached to the Trzesacz’s parish and lied on the north from the town, where now is the sea.
Lighthouse
It was built about 130 years ago so it is an architectural monument. The first time when light was switched on was in 1866. To make that oil lamp with four wicks was used.
Lighthouse is 45 meters high. Her light is seen at 20 miles distance (more than 36 km). The special lamp bulb with 1000V power is its source. It intensifies the special prism’s system about twenty times more.
Narrowrail Railway (Kolejka wąskotorowa)
One of the Rewals’ seaside attractions. It was closed and nearly sold by PKP, because it was unprofitable. Thanks to stubbornness of local authorities, railway now drives from Pogorzelica to Trzęsacz. If the agreement between PKP and local authorities didn’t came the railway probably would now drive in... Africa.
